Our story
In the summer of 2023, a few brothers sought a way to connect with their peers nationwide and indulge in their shared passion for golf. What began as a simple idea among us evolved into what is now known as The Blue and Silver Open. As the committee expanded, so did the scope of the event. What initially started as a casual gathering of golf enthusiasts turned into a significant philanthropic brotherhood event for the alumni network of Delta Epsilon Psi.
The inaugural Blue and Silver Open took place from May 3rd to 5th, 2024, at the Reunion Golf and Resort in Orlando, Florida. It featured 24 brothers from Florida, Texas, and New Jersey, competing in a Ryder Cup-style format. The match ended in a tie between Team Blue and Team Silver, setting the stage for this event to become an annual tradition.
While golf and brotherhood are central to the event, we remain committed to our core value of philanthropy. A portion of the proceeds from The Blue and Silver Open is dedicated to combating juvenile diabetes through the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. We have partnered with Vishan Patel and his charity, Vishan’s Racers, to support this cause.
Together, we strive to uphold the values of brotherhood, discipline, and commitment that define our organization, setting a strong foundation for the continued success and growth of The Blue and Silver Open for years to come.
